Collaborating with the design team at Bentel & Bentel for the Palms Casino Resort renovation, we were tasked with manufacturing a statement piece for the Sky Villa. The brief required an object that could hold its own within the suite’s hyper-luxurious, sensory-rich environment, functioning as both a professional gaming surface and a kinetic sculpture.
We constructed the table with a curvilinear chassis, departing from traditional linear table architecture to create a fluid silhouette. The manufacturing challenge lay in the finish: we applied a high-gloss gold treatment to the entire structure, meticulously matching it with the Simonis Gold worsted wool and Italian leather pockets. This monochromatic approach unifies the complex curves into a single, reflective volume.
To extend this aesthetic to the perimeter of the room, we fabricated two matching gold-finished 'URACK' wall units. By harmonizing the accessories with the table, we delivered a cohesive gaming ecosystem where the objects capture and amplify the ambient light, executing the architects' vision for an immersive, opulent atmosphere.
