For a contemporary new build in Weston, Florida, we provided a complete design and manufacturing solution for the home's pool area. The client required a piece that could function as high-performance equipment while withstanding the humidity of the outdoor environment.
Drawing on the conceptual lineage of Rirkrit Tiravanija’s seminal 2008 work _"Untitled (The Future of Chrome),"_ we engineered and built the 'Deco Lux' table entirely from marine-grade stainless steel. This material choice was critical; we constructed the chassis to ensure absolute resistance to corrosion while maintaining structural rigidity.
The steel was hand-polished by our team to a mirror finish, allowing the heavy industrial form to visually dematerialize. By reflecting the shifting blues of the pool and the sky, the table ceases to be a static object and instead becomes a dynamic part of the landscape architecture.
