Damien Hirst Spin Artwork on Lucite Burj Pool Table

Damien Hirst Spin artwork on Burj Lucite Pool Table in the Palms Casino $100,000 a night Sky Villa - Pool Table Portfolio

A custom table for the world’s priciest suite

Pooltableportfolio designed a custom billiard table for a $100,000 a night room, with a two night minimum. The table was built specifically for the Palms Casino Sky Villa, one of the most expensive suites in the world.

Design and collaboration

The suite was created by artist Damien Hirst with architecture firm Bentel & Bentel. The two-story space includes six original Hirst pieces and about 9,000 square feet of Hirst-designed decoration, and the Burj pool table was specified for the luxury game room.

Materials and details

Rails feature a white piano gloss finish with stainless steel band accents. The Lucite acrylic legs create a platform effect that makes the table look like it is floating. The playing surface fabric was custom printed with Hirst’s Spin artwork at a UK textile plant.

A minimal white gloss floor cue rack was custom made for the project. We also built a lucite double-stacked triangle so the balls remain visible and the artist print shows through the rack.

Launch and experience

The suite opened with a gala attended by chef Gordon Ramsay and Damien Hirst. Working with Bentel & Bentel and Hirst on this one-of-a-kind table was a rare and rewarding experience for our team.
